Another cold night is expected across the region tonight as a high pressure continues to track along the Iowa and Minnesota border. Low temperatures are expected to dip to the mid 20s to the low 30s Saturday morning with highs struggling to reach the mid to upper 60s. A Freeze Warning is in effect for most areas north of I-80 and a Frost Advisory to the south. Plain and simply, this means, if you have plants, once again cover them up (or bring them inside), and make sure to bundle up if you will be outside tonight for football games.

Precipitation chances are expected to increase as we begin the new week. Cloud cover should begin settling in the area Sunday morning with chances of showers and thunderstorms all day on Sunday and Monday. One tenth to a quarter of an inch will be possible. Normalcy should return for the work week with 60s and dry weather being the prominent condition through the week.
