In the 5th Issuance of POLYGON we welcome our Horticulturist Derek McKay into the POLYGON. We discussed a wide range of topics regarding gardening, trees, bushes and what to plant now and what not to plant. There was considerable discussion on trees and possible pests like the Emerald Ash Borer that may kill many of the Ash Trees in the state and around the country in the next 10-20 years. Henry then went off on a rant about how their tree in his front yard was “attacking” his sewer line causing it to leak. Derek pointed out that, the only way that was possible was if the pipe was already broken to begin with.
