* AT 740 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH….AND PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY NEAR SAVANNA…OR 7 MILES WEST OF MOUNT CARROLL…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
