* AT 151 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH….AND GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 15 MILES NORTH OF LAMONT…OR 19 MILES NORTHEAST OF OELWEIN…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

THIS STORM HAS ALREADY PRODUCED WIND DAMAGE AND LARGE HAIL…AND IT REMAINS A THREAT.
