* AT 148 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL…AND DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE ROUGHLY ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM ELGIN TO FAYETTE…MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH. THIS WARNING EXTENDS THE PREVIOUS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR FAYETTE AND CLAYTON COUNTIES.
