Some thunderstorms have developed across the eastern part of Iowa this afternoon. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued a few hours ago in effect until 7pm for those areas. The biggest thunderstorm at mid-afternoon was located in Clinton County north of DeWitt. These storms are moving east but a few more could develop over the next few hours. Large Hail and damaging winds will be the main severe weather threats the rest of the afternoon and evening. The rest of the state will remain dry.
