There is a slight risk of severe weather for this afternoon and tonight, for the entire state. The main threat will be damaging winds, with secondary threats of large hail and an isolated tornado. Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon along and ahead of a cold front that will be moving into the state. These storms will quickly move eastward or southeastward. This will be similiar to the event yesterday and the two events last Friday. However, temperatures are slightly cooler today and dewpoints are slightly lower (upper 60s-to mid 70s instead of the mid 70s to lower 80s yesterday), but that shouldn’t make a difference in and type of development this afternoon.
