Looking Northeast towards Turtle Lake.
Funnel clouds were reported today in the Cumberland…Turtle Lake and Almena areas But they were cold air funnels. There was No storms in the area during that time. Cold air funnels rarely ever reach the ground. So this was mostly just a neat site. There was a Special weather statement issued warning about the funnels I’m not sure if that’s a funnel in the picture Above or not, I think this may be what was reported.
During the 5PM-6PM hour a strong storm pushed across St Croix,Northwestern Dunn and Barron counties. this storm moved over Baldwin then really strengthened as it moved over Prairie Farm and Barron. There could have been some large hail in this storm, Here are the reports.
