Very cold night ahead!!!

With this image from the NWS We can see that Very cold temperatures are forecasted for tonight, as Arctic air continues to come in from the northwest. everyone should be ready for extremely cold temperatures tonight which will last though Thursday night.

Update on the cold weather, It looks like were in for Very cold night across northwest Wisconsin lows Wednesday Night will likely be below -20.F in most areas. The southern areas will be the “warmest” they will be in the low -20s a few areas may reach the -25s range. The Central pars of the area will approach -25s communities like Amery, Osceola and Rice Lake may approach the upper -29s and for the North temps will be in the upper -29s some places along Douglas county may approach -30.F! Winds will become a bit breezy later Wednesday and continue to be breezy until Friday this will cause for wind chills to reach as low as -50.F This is dangerously cold weather. the extreme wind chills will be possible Tonight though the day Thursday and into Friday. make sure not to stay outside long and dress warmly. Thursdays High will not even reach above zero under Arctic Sunshine, highs will be in the -5s all areas, but some places might not even warm out of the -10s. Thursday Night it looking Extremely Cold! the Coldest night of the season, so far! the southern areas will reach the -25s some places may stay in the -20s Central areas will reach the -25s approaching the -30s especially in cooler areas like Osceola, Amery and Rice Lake. Places along the Douglas county boarder have a good chance of temperatures reaching into the -30s. Stay inside Thursday Night!
Friday the Arctic Air will finally start to break up, Highs will reach above zero. then much warmer air moving in by Sunday.

  1. That’s COLD! Here in WeatherScout Studios (se Wisconsin), we could see wind chills of -30 to -40Wednesday night. Same story on Thursday night. I enjoyed your CLAYTON TURNS 100 post.
