The Storm Prediction Center in Norman,Oklahoma has issued a Moderate Risk! of severe thunderstorms for the entire local area. this includes the cities of Siren, Spooner, Osceola, Amery, Rice Lake, Barron, New Richmond, Hudson and Menomonie. Thunderstorms from the early morning hours should clear out and partly cloudy skies will develop by mid morning to afternoon allowing for heating to take place. During the afternoon hours thunderstorms will quickly develop in Minnesota and become severe, pushing east south east raking across the entire area. Large hail, Very heavy rain, Damaging strait line winds, and even tornado’s are a possibility for tomorrow. This is one of the higher risks we’ve been under in quite some time and should be taken with some seriousness.
