A storm system will bring a chance of widespread scattered thunderstorms for most of the Upper Midwest Saturday, with temperatures staying mild. It will be warm in the south with a chance of Severe Storms in southeastern Iowa, Southern Wisconsin, and Illinois. Sunday and Monday there will be a chance of scattered showers or storms behind the low across the entire region.

Local View

Locally we will be dealing with a wet Saturday for sure and the rainiest of the next 3. There will be bouts of widespread showers and thunderstorms through the day, with maybe a cloudy break in between them. Some of the storms could bring heavy downpours, especially in the evening and overnight hours. Sunday will bring a bit more sun, warmer temps, with a chance of rain from widely scattered thunderstorms through the entire day. Some of these storms could become strong if we get enough sunshine, but severe weather should not happen. Monday will bring cooler and more cloudy conditions, with a chance of a shower. It should be more wet then dry on Monday.

Sunday, Partly sunny with a chance of a shower of thunderstorms. Some could be strong, highs in the low to mid 70s. Sunday Night, Chance of a shower lows in the low 50s.

Monday, Cooler, A chance of a shower, otherwise cloudy, with highs in the low to mid 60s. Monday Night, Cloudy, lows in the mid 40s.
