The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO watch until 10pm for the following counties in Iowa, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Delaware, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Kossuth, Marshall, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Poweshiek, Sac, Story, Tama, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, Wright, Chickasaw, Fayette, Floyd, Mitchell, Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury. Thunderstorms are beginning to develop in the northwestern part of the state. These storms will move southeast across the state this afternoon and this evening. Along with tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds.
