Thunderstorms have fired along the cold front across the northern and northeastern counties of the state. Some of the storms have dropped hail over quarter sized. These cells are along a line from New Hampton to Harpers Ferry to just north of Wisconsin Dells. These storms are moving ENE at around 30-35mph. There will likely be more development back to the west and southwest later this afternoon into this evening. A severe Thunderstorm watch is in effect for a large portion of the state through 10pm this evening. Large hail and damaging winds are likely to be the main threats with any of these storms.
