THROUGH THE WEEKEND: The storm will be departing today with the rain and snow gradually ending through the day. Highs will be in the 30s and 40s across the state with mostly cloudy skies around. Skies will clear tonight with lows dropping back into the upper teens north through the 20s to near 30 south. Heading into the weekend, the sun will return on Saturday with highs in the 40s and 50s. A disturbance will come in on Sunday that could spark a shower around, but it doesn’t look like a whole lot of rain will come out of it at this time. This looks to continue through Monday as well with readings holding in the 40s and 50s across the state.
THROUGH THE WEEK: Tuesday will see some partly to mostly sunny skies after some morning clouds and perhaps a shower with readings in the 50s. Then the southwesterly winds return on Wednesday and so do the warmer temperatures back into the 60s for a good portion of the state. The warm and sunny weather looks to continue into Thursday with a slight cool down on Friday with a cold front that will sag into the state from the north that may bring a chance of a shower at that time.
THROUGH THE EXTENDED PERIOD: The following weekend looks to be rather wet with a chance of some showers and thunderstorms. It’s way too early to determine any chance of severe weather at this time, but we’ll keep watching it as we go along. Another system around the 16th could bring us another chance of some showers and thunderstorms at that time, along with another storm around the 19th as well. Readings during this period look to remain near seasonal levels with some cooler days especially following the system next weekend.
