March 31st Afternoon Update

858

Showers and thunderstorms have begun to fire this afternoon across the central and northern counties of the state. These storms are capable of some hail and strong gusty winds. We’ll have to wait and see if we see any severe weather out of these storms. These storms are quickly moving northeast at 30-40mph. The storms will bring some rain and some lightning. Be sure if a storm approaches your area and you hear thunder to head indoors until the storm passes. The strong gusty winds we’ve been experiencing all day will continue into the night as the winds switch to the west and the temperatures begin to drop.
