Information from NWS Des Moines

The National Weather Service in Des Moines announced today that the first Iowa tornado of 2014 formed 3.1 miles south of Osceola (Clarke county) on March 27, 2014 from 4:41 PM to 4:43 PM. The damage rating given for this tornado is EF0 with a maximum path length of just under 3/4ths of a mile.
