The front has moved well off to the east of the state early this afternoon leaving Iowa in the dry slot. Rain and thundershowers are off to the east, while snow is rotating around the low pressure center to our west. These snow showers will move in (mixed with rain) later tonight and most of Friday before ending early Saturday morning. There will be little if any accumulation with these snow showers.
