A week from Election Day, it’s a good idea to take another look (our fifth) at what the weather might be like for Election day. The GFS Model Run (12Z) is continuing with this trend of a storm system moving into the state on Election Day. A 992mb Low over eastern North Dakota with some precipitation (rain) possible for most of the day. Amounts are likely to be light but it will be windy with winds at least 10-20mph with some higher gusts. Most of the precip should be out of the state after sunset with winds dying down then as well. This could change but given this is only a week out, there will be subtle changes at this point.
