The morning QPF chart shows the possiblity of some heavy rainfall amounts in the state over the next 5 days. Most of the state will recieve at least 1 inch of rain with many places south of US Hwy 20 recieving up to 2-3 inches. This would be due to the slow speed of the upper level low that is forecasted for the middle of this upcoming week. The upper level low is forecasted to bring cooler air that might change some of the precipitation to a mix of rain and snow on Friday.
