Clouds and a few isolated rain showers continue in the state this morning. Most of the rain is in the eastern part of the state, east of Cedar Rapids, south of Ottumwa and a few sprinkles near Mason City. The sky has begun to clear in the western part of the state and will continue to do so as this storm system moves off to the east and begins to weaken. A very cold night is in tap including frost and freeze conditions, some advisories and warnings will likely be issued later today.
