There has abountiful sunshine today across the state, unlike the last few days when afternoon clouds have rolled in from the north. This will allow temperatures to cool more rapidly this evening. However tonight readings will be a few degrees warmer than last night, with temperatures in the mid 30s in the cooler valley locations to the mid 40s in the south and west. High temperatures will rebound to the 70s in the western part of the state starting tomorrow.
