The state is split in two with the western part of the state in sunshine and warming into the 60s while the eastern part is in clouds and upper 50s to near 60. Tranquil weather will rein this week as very slim chances of rain exist for the next week.

BIRTHDAY: Today is my birthday. Last year on this date, many parts of Iowa experienced their first frost of the year. This broke records for the earliest frost to date. Wonder if this was the sign the winter was going to be bad. No frost expected this week however.
