This is the 5 day projected rainfall through Tuesday evening at 7pm. Most of this rain will fall through Sunday. Ike’s moisture will overrun a front that will be stalled just to the south, whereas Ike will stay south of the state, in a similiar path to Gustav. Amounts over 3 inches is likely south of a Guttenburg to Vinton to Hamburg line through Tuesday with 4.3 inches being the maximum near Maquoketa. Some flooding is possible given the rain that has and is currently falling along with this upcoming rain.
