All of Iowa

Sunday Evening Rain

Some very light rain is moving through the state, some of it is likely not reaching the ground or might be sprinkles or virga. There is a line of showers from Columbus Junction to Knoxville (where the heaviest rain is the state is falling) to Guthrie Center to Onawa. Amounts from this will likely be under 1/4 of an inch. The heaviest rains will come tomorrow and could add up to over an inch in many places with isolated 2 inch amounts likely south of Interstate 80. Eyes will need to be tuned in on Hurricane Ike and where it might go and how it might effect the weather in Iowa later this week and into next weekend.
