Fog will form in the overnight hours from the recent rains that have fallen. The fog is more likely to form in the eastern part of the state. It may become dense in some places especially river valleys. Already some light fog is being reported in Clinton and Iowa City and the Quad Cities. This is in an area that the front has yet to go through. Dewpoints in the eastern part of the state are still in the upper 60s to lower 70s while the western half of the state have dewpoints down into the 50s. The fog should last through at least 9am tomorrow morning.
