More storms have developed in the southern part of the state. In the northern part of the state, there is a line of showers from Decorah to New Hampton to Grundy Center. This broken line of showers is moving east at about 20-25 mph. The heaviest concentration of storms are now in SW Iowa from about Des Moines southwestward to Hamburg. There is also a storm in Mahaska and Monroe counties in SC Iowa. These storms may drop as much as 1/2 inch of rain and bring some gusty winds as they move through. They will continue moving east through sunrise.
