Some isolated showers and thunderstorms have developed along the cold front moving through the state. None of the storms are severe, however further development is possible through the rest of the evening as they move to the east. The chances of rain have ended west of a line from Northwood to Rockwell City to Omaha as the front has moved through that area. The most concentrated activity is along and north of US Hwy 20, but the showers and storms are very scattered about. If you receive one of these showers or storms expect brief heavy rain and gusty winds for 10-15 minutes as it moves through. They shouldn’t drop more than a 1/4 inch of rain as they push east.
