Most of the rain is now in the eastern third of the state. Rainfall will generally be light to moderate, with amounts generally under 1/4 of an inch with some isolated 1/2 inch amounts possible. It is very sticky outside with dewpoints well into the 60s and lower 70s. More rain is forecast for Friday mainly in the eastern part of the state while the rest of the state will be very warm with temperatures near 90 west and south of Des Moines.
