Severe clusters of thunderstorms have developed. The main clusters are near the Iowa Minnesota border along IA Hwy 9 from Osage to Lansing and along the Des Moines River Valley in SE Iowa from east of Ottumwa to Keokuk. A few of these storms may briefly reach severe weather criteria, with hail up to 1 inch in diameter and winds up to 60 mph. West of Interstate 35 there is currently no rain.
