The Severe Thunderstorm Warning List has been updated. As of Sunday evening, there had been 24,135 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings issued in the United States. For NWS Offices that include Iowa, Des Moines still leads the pack with 495 warnings (tied for 6th), Omaha has 412 warnings (14th), Quad Cities has 277 warnings (28th), Sioux Falls has 242 warnings (tied for 41st) and La Crosse has 165 warnings (tied for 66th).

Norman Oklahoma has issued the most Severe Thunderstorm Warnings this year with 788 warnings, with Jackson MS closing at 763 warnings.
