For once there is no chance of Severe Weather today in Iowa. A “cold” front has moved through the state, but cold air won’t be coming behind it. Only slightly drier air will be around today with temperatures being the same as they were yesterday. Mid 80s to lower 90s will be the rule across the state. After a hiatus however, the humidity will make a return visit along with the chances of severe weather. There is a slight risk for the next 2 days (this weekend) in the NE part of the state. This will be due to the storms forming along the edge of the heat ridge that will be building into the state this weekend. More will come on that tomorrow.
