No rain currently in the state. There are a few scattered clouds across the northern part of the state. There is a boundary in that area so any build up would have to be watched for thunderstorm development. There is still a slight risk in eastern 4/5ths of the state. There is a moderately strong cap in the western and central part of the state that will tone down any thunderstorm development, meanwhile the eastern part of the state the cap is weaker but there’s been less daytime heating due to the thunderstorm complex that moved through around midday. The atmosphere is unstable and a thunderstorm if it can break the cap could become severe immediately with large hail and damaging winds. This is however conditional for the time being.
