A few showers and thunderstorms have popped up in Iowa this afternoon. One was located north of Atlantic, a few more between Ames and Marshalltown. A line from Oskaloosa to West Branch, and a line of showers in SE Clayton county into SW Wisconsin. Any of these storms will bring brief heavy rain and gusty winds. They shouldn’t last more than 15-20 minutes at a time.
