Rain continues to fall mainly south of a line from Dubuque to Manchester to Mount Auburn to Story City line and mainly east of Interstate 35. A 15 to 20 mile wide band of showers and isolated thunderstorms extends further west from Story City to Dallas Center to Guthrie Center to Avoca to Omaha. There has been little progress in those storms. The huge MCS has been moving back to the north and weakening as most of the oranges and reds have been replaced by yellows on radar. A stronger storm has developed on the north side of this MCS in SE Marshall, SW Tama, NW Poweshiek and NE Jasper Counties. This cell is moving to the E at 30 mph.
