Thunderstorms, some severe continue along a line extending from Prairie Du Chien Wisconsin to Oelwein to Grundy Center to Conrad. Other storms extended from Conrad to Des Moines to Greenfield to Villisca to Hamburg. The storms that will produce the heaviest amounts of rain will remain north of US Hwy 30 through the evening hours with amounts of 1-2 inches possible. Any flooding that occurs will be brief. Intense Lightning will occur with the storms north of US Hwy 30. These storms will continue eastward at 30-35 mph.
