A Slight Risk of Severe Weather for the entire state of Iowa today. The main threats as has been the case in the past few days, Large Hail, Damaging Winds, however the Tornado Threat seems to be a secondary threat this time around. The threat of Tornadoes is based on shear that is expected in the area of Iowa north of US Hwy 30. A slight risk is also indicated for Tuesday for SE Iowa south and east of a line from Clinton to Mt Ayr. The risks are not yet defined for Tuesday, but are likely to be the same as today with less of a chance for tornadoes.
