The strongest Thunderstorms in the state were located in SE Clayton County about ready to cross the Mississippi River into Wisconsin. Another INTENSE thunderstorm was located from Williamsburg in Iowa County to Washington in Washington County, moving east at 25 mph. This storm is still producing intense and periodic lightning. The lightning from the storm in Iowa into Washington County can be seen 35 miles away at 2 strokes per SECOND! The storm should move into the Iowa City area by 11pm.
