The heaviest thunderstorms are currently located along a line extending from Marquette in Clayton County to Independence in Buchanan County. Also another thunderstorm has developed ahead of the rain shield near Montezuma in Poweshiek County. This storm will need to be watched as it moves to the east. Most of the light to moderate rain behind the heaviest showers and storms have moved north of US Hwy 30. A few thunderstorms may move into SW Iowa in the next hour between Glenwood and Hamburg and Sidney.
