RELATIVELY QUIET: Today into the weekend looks to remain somewhat quiet outside the isolated rain shower chances later today into this evening in the far northern counties of the state. Elsewhere there will be a noticeable increase in cloudiness with readings ranging from the 40s north to near 60 in the far southwest. Saturday will see mostly sunny skies with readings mainly in the 50s across the state, with slightly cooler readings on Sunday.

COLD BLAST: The GFS is showing a lot less moisture with the next push of much colder air to the state. This will decrease the chances of seeing much if any snowfall across the area Monday night into Tuesday morning. Nevertheless, some flurries or light snow showers could be possible with any accumulation being very light at this point. Temperatures behind the front will take a tumble down into the 30s for highs and lows in the teens and 20s Monday and Tuesday.

INTO NEXT WEEKEND: Temperatures will moderate Wednesday back to near 50s for most areas, with a slight cooling on Thursday before quickly warming again back into at least the lower and middle 50s on Friday. Next weekend looks dry and comfortable with readings near seasonal levels.

FARTHER OUT: The next system looks to move in late next Sunday through early on Tuesday (19th) with some rain shower activity. Thereafter the GFS shows relatively little activity across the area with readings remaining near seasonal levels for the middle to end of November. But things may change as this is still two weeks out, so there’s still plenty of time to watch.
