WINDY THEN RAINY: A fairly windy day across the state today with the wind blowing out of the south boosting readings into the 50s and lower 60s. The winds may gust over 40mph in the western counties of the state. This is ahead of a storm system that will scrape the state with some precipitation Monday. The main energy with this system will stay to the north. However, another wave of precipitation will come in from the southwest on Tuesday into Wednesday. Some of the precipitation may change over to a wintry mix Wednesday before ending but any amounts will be light as the main window of precipitation will be Tuesday into Tuesday night. Temperatures will cool back into the 40s to lower and middle 50s Thursday.

NEXT WEEKEND AND BEYOND: Mainly sunny skies look to be the rule heading into next weekend with readings expected to be near seasonal levels. A quick moving system around Veterans Day may bring an isolated shower with the best chances coming a day later with another storm on the 12th through early on the 14th. Another storm on the 15th and 16th may bring some rain and then snow to the state as well. Readings look to remain near seasonal levels with some ebbs and flows as storms come and go.
