Nothing Compares, is the slogan for the Iowa State Fair and nothing compares to the weather that will be wonderful for those attending the opening day. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy with clouds becoming more so later into the afternoon as a storm will be tracking mainly to our south. Highs in the low 80s during the afternoon will be great, not hot enough for running into the Varied Industries building to get some AC, but not too cool either. All told, the only issue you may have is a sunburn that is if you haven’t put on the SPF 15 beforehand which may be a necessity this year looking farther ahead.
