After days of heavy rain, hail and tornadoes, there will be a lull in the action for the next few days. Aside from a few showers expected the rest of the day today, Tuesday and Wednesday will remain dry and sunny with highs generally in the 60s and lower 70s. The next chance of showers and thunderstorms will move into the state on Thursday. It’s too early to determine if there will be severe weather with this next storm yet, but there is a decent chance that there might be. River Flooding has returned to Iowa! Numerous rivers, too numerous to count are flooding at this time. Many rivers will be in flood throughout the rest of the week and with another bout of rain coming Thursday into Friday, it will likely slow any progress of rivers falling back to below flood stage.
