A batch of strong to at times severe thunderstorms are about to move into southern Iowa. Currently the storms are over northern Missouri. These storms are moving to the NE. These storms will likely produce heavy rain along with possible hail and damaging winds. Other scattered showers and thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Newton to Independence to Dubuque. These storms may have some small hail with them as they move to the east and northeast.
