Slight Risk Saturday

The Storm Prediction Center has a slight risk of Severe Weather for today and tonight (Saturday) across southeast Iowa southeast of a line from Lamoni to Sabula. This would include the Quad Cities, Burlington, Ottumwa. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds. There is also a slight Risk of Severe Weather for Sunday and Sunday night for most of Iowa southeast of a line from Omaha to Decorah. The main threats that day will be split. Large Hail will be the main threat early in the day, with large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes the threats later in the afternoon. The tornado threat is conditional on how much instability will be available after morning thunderstorms move through.
