Warmer Weather Ahead

Clouds are moving out of the state this afternoon, bringing sunshine back. Temperatures will be held down where the clouds will hold out the longest, in the eastern part of the state. Meanwhile the rest of the state will see temperatures in the 50s and 60s today. The rest of the week will see temperatures warm further into the 60s and even 70s before the next storm system moves in for the weekend. Rain will begin late on Friday and last through Sunday. Severe Weather is not anticipated at this time, but could change. No hard freezes are forecast in the next week, BUT the average last freeze is still 2-3 weeks away for most of the state, so it is not time for planting as yet.
