A parade of storm systems will move across the country this week. One will effect part of Iowa tomorrow with some rain and wet snow. Amounts will be generally light. The main action will be well to the south where a large severe weather outbreak is expected. Sunday will be similar to Thursday with another storm moving in from the southwest. Thunderstorms, rain and snow could be possible across the state on Sunday. It’s too early to determine amounts just yet, but heavy snow is possible with this storm along with heavy rain in any thunderstorm that develops. The active pattern is expected to continue well into April. Temperatures for the next week will remain at or below normal for this time of year with highs in the 30s, 40s and low 50s and lows generally in the 20s and 30s.
