A cold front is currently moving through the eastern part of the state at midday. Temperatures ahead of the front are in the 50s, while behind the front, temperatures have fallen into the 30s and lower 40s. Windy conditions will be the main feature today with west to southwest winds blowing at 15-25 mph with higher gusts around a low pressure system moving into Minnesota. A few widely scattered flurries will be possible tonight. The next chance of any measureable precipitation will occur on Thursday with another storm system that is forecast to skirt the area.
