At 11:25 the line of showers and thunderstorms was along a line extending from Clear Lake to Iowa Falls to State Center to Mitchellville to Lamoni. This line was pushing off to the east at 25-30 mph. The storms are not expected to be severe the rest of the night, but winds up to 40-45 mph and small hail up to marble size might be possible as the storms roll through. Rainfall amounts will generally be under 1/4 of an inch with these storms with isolated heavier totals possible.
