Dense fog continues acorss the eastern half of the state this morning. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through early afternoon. Most of the rain has moved out of the state with only scattered light showers across the state, some of it in the form of freezing rain and snow in the NW part of the state. Winds have switched to the northwest and have become quite gusty, therefore a Wind Advisory is in effect for later this afternoon through tomorrow morning for the eastern half of the state. Winds will be sustained at 20-30 mph with gusts reaching 40 at times later today into tonight. With temperatures dropping into the teens, wind chills will drop to near 0 in places. It will be much colder tomorrow with highs struggling to reach 30 in most of the state.
