Eddie Rabbitt had a song “I love a Rainy Night” but most people tonight will not be loving the rain that’s falling right now. Light to Moderate rain has overspread the southeastern half of Iowa late this evening. A few claps of thunder and strokes of lightning will not be uncommon with the rain overnight. This is bound to aggrevate creeks, streams and rivers that are flooding or just under flood stage (or bankfull), Flash Flood Watch remains in effect in SE Iowa tonight through tomorrow.
